Hello, My name is Penny.  I have worked in early years education since 1995 and have worked at The Ark Preschool since 2009. 

In 2017 I completed my BA Hons in Early Years Education with the Open University and in 2018 I took over as Manager of The Ark Preschool.  I enjoy encouraging children to have an input into their learning and show them that their opinions matter to us as a preschool.

Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator

My name is Kezi.  I have been working at the Ark Pre-school since January 2011.  I am a qualified level 3 Practioner and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (Senco).  I am also a mum to two beautiful children.  I trained in Paediatric First Aid and have completed a variety of additional training around Special Educational Needs including Portage.  I am currently studying to further my knowledge and development to gain a recognised qualification for Early Years Sencos.

Hello, my name is Michaela but some of the children call me Kayla. I have 2 young children and love being a Mum. I started working at the Ark in 2017.   I have worked within the childcare industry for many years and I have always enjoyed being able to support/teach children as they are our future. I am a qualified level 3 practitioner and I have recently taken on the role of the Deputy Manager, I am also the Preschool's Designated Safeguarding Lead and am a qualified Early Years Senco.

Hello, I’m Dee (short for Diana !)

I’ve been working with pre-school children since 2001; I have an NVQ3 qualification in Early Years Childcare & Education and hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.  I joined The Ark in September 2017 having previously worked for 15 years at a Bromley nursery followed by a year at a Montessori pre-school.  I am mum to young adult twins. I love working with young children and especially enjoy helping them to explore their imagination and develop curious minds and promoting their emotional wellbeing.


Hello, my name is Deirdre.  

After working in medical science laboratories, I trained to teach and hold a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education).  I taught in a primary school for 16 years and have been working at The Ark since 2009.  I have 3 grown up children and 4 grandchildren.  


My name is Leanne.  I am a qualified practitioner, holding a NCFE qualification and am trained in paediatric first aid. I am also Mum to a son at secondary school and have worked at the Ark since 2013. I love working with children, every day brings a smile.


I am Level 3 trained and have been working in early years for more than 20 years and have also worked as both a manager and a deputy manager in my two previous settings. I strive to make a difference in all our pre-school children's lives.  I have two grown up children of my own.  




Hello I started working at The Ark in September 2019.  I am Level 3 trained and have worked with children aged  from 6 months. Before coming to England I worked in childcare in Romania. I am also mother to 2 girls. 

Hello I am Martine, a mum of three children (2 boys and 1 girl) and I joined the Ark in September 2020.  I am a native French & Italian speaker and UK Qualified Teacher with 24 years experience across all ages. BA Hons, PGCE, QTS & MFL Specialism.

I have a proactive approach to teaching and learning.  I promote effective learning by engaging and motivating children to be independent learners and I believe that students learn best when they are happy and enjoying themselves through play.

As well as supporting your children through their early years learning journey, I will also introduce them to learning French through songs and role plays.

Hello I'm Chelsey, I'm Level 3 trained and am experienced in childcare, I love working with children. 


I've worked in the preschool for several years and completed my level 3 in childhood studies. (Aymalia is currently on leave)
